When I found out my house sold and the buyers wanted to move in within 2-3-4 weeks, I called Space Cowgirls Organizing.
I had an additional challenge to just clearing out a home. I was going to be traveling to 3 different places, requiring different belongings before I would actually settle into one location again. I really had no idea how to start this project. Luckily, Lisa came over and we talked through the challenges and set a plan as to how to break down the move into manageable pieces. She helped me determine what clothes I needed to take on each trip, what to pack away in storage, what to consign, give to family, or donate. We assessed what I actually needed to keep at the house till the last moment and what could be packed.
Lisa labeled everything as she packed. She was flexible with the sorting, packing, and putting aside temporarily, as we tackled different aspects of the move.
Somehow it all got done. I had what I needed down till the last day. Lisa and a gentleman moved my last items to storage and she made sure that the items I needed for the following two trips were carefully labeled and placed for easy access.

Lisa came to my home recently to help me organize a few stubborn spots, and she was great! I had a small budget for the project and she worked with me to get everything done really efficiently. I appreciated that I didn't need to buy any extra containers or furniture; she even went out and got a couple of cardboard boxes that we were able to use. She did an excellent job and was very friendly. I was working from home that day and she went about her work really independently, only asking me questions when I took a break. I'd definitely recommend her and will use her again if the occasion arises!

In February of 2021, we were delighted to find the house of our dreams. In March, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. In a rush, we moved all of our belongings to the new house, shoved all the boxes in and left for MD Anderson. We didn’t return to our new home for three months while my husband endured chemo and radiation treatments. What I Received Was So Much More Than I Expected!

I hired the Space Cowgirls to help with my move.
I have shelves and shelves of classic and heavy, large art books. It was daunting to me when I realized I had to move them all. I am a ceramic artist, and in addition to my home I had to pack up my studio, full of ceramics and China.
What I received was so much more than I expected. Having moved numerous times in my life, I have always had to spend a lot of time in the directors chair. Lisa came in, rarely asked a question, everything was packed and organized exactly how I would have done it, plus done in a minimal amount of time.
On the receiving end of the boxes, I was amazed. It was a delight to unpack, nothing was broken and my books were organized by category making them so incredibly easy to put back on their shelves. All of the boxes were clearly marked. It was so less stressful than I had expected. Honestly, it would be worth flying them to you to pack up your home.

When I was faced with moving my family from 3,000 sq.ft. to 1,000 sq.ft., I hired Space Cowgirls Organizing to oversee our move. Space Cowgirls handled every challenge with efficiency, expertise, and sensitivity to our family’s unique requirements.
They sorted items for consignment, donation, and disposal; took clothes to consignment (which netted hundreds of dollars!), consigned an old car and furniture, and donated other items to several organizations in the community. We especially appreciated their commitment to making the move as environmentally green as possible, repairing and re-homing any items that were not suitable for our new home, and recycling moving materials.
Throughout the process, Space Cowgirls coordinated with utility providers, post office, electrician, movers, housecleaners, and tied up loose ends with the former landlord and property management company. From start to finish, they managed our move in an organized and timely manner. We could have never done it without them!
